How to assemble the Magnetic Garment Hanging Rack:
To make packaging and shipping less costly, some assembly is required. You will need a screwdriver to put four screws in the predrilled holes. These screws hold the magnet bars to the steel tubing. The top magnet bar overlaps the top of the machine where a rubber strip is attached to prevent slipping. The bottom magnet bar is flat across. The other pieces slip together with push-button clips. See the paper that comes with the package for a diagram and more directions and warnings concerning the safe use of these very strong magnets. To disassemble and store the product when not in use, only the pull-apart and push-button parts need to be taken apart. The screws can be left in place. It's really easy to figure out.
When setting up the magnetic clothes hanger care should be taken to follow the suggested directions. To avoid marking the paint on the appliance, please apply the vinyl stick-on scratch guards to the magnets before use.

Adjusting and loading the Magnetic Garment Hanging Rack:
The rack can be applied to either the front or the side, of either the washer or the dryer, and the top bar where the clothes are hung can be put together facing in and out, or facing left to right. The top bar also slides back and forth, so there are many ways to put together the magnetic clothes rack. The rack can hold twice as much weight with a balanced load than a load all to one side. The rack also holds up better with the top bar in line with the magnet bars than when the top bar is directed away from the magnets. The total weight the rack can hold up varies with the quality of steel, coatings on the appliance, and how well balanced the load is. Note that most all the weight is being held up by the part overlapping the appliance itself. A little experimenting with your location and position of the product and you will soon discover the best way for your set up. You will need to consider the location of the appliance doors and which side you may need to walk near. Outdoor locations exposed to strong winds should be avoided.

Attaching and Removing the Magnetic Garment Hanging Rack:
To apply: Tip the assembled product at an angle to the machine and place the "L" shaped bracket with the rubber strip exactly where you want it to be, then, get your fingers out of the way, and slowly tip the rack upright so the lower magnet bracket attaches.
To Remove: Pull the top bar in the way that will break the bottom magnets loose first. Then, grab the bottom bracket and pull straight up to break loose the top magnets. Avoid excessive dragging of the magnets across the machine. The rack should be empty when being removed.
